I attended the GIRL SCOUT VOLUNTEER LEADERS RETREAT where Latrece Williams McKnight was our keynote speaker and a facilitator. Her message was inspirational, insightful, and energizing. As a Christian, a mother of four, PTA member, & a GS Volunteer of 11 years, my life is all about PURPOSE. I can truly be lost without it. I plan on sharing this message with all my East Hampton leaders, my Scouts, & my children. Thank you Latrece for sharing your story of “pain”. It touched my heart and I have a high regard to breaking free and be a purpose as well to living on purpose. I was drawn in from the start. My current situation has me feeling like I was stuck in that box with Ms. Williams McKnight. I’m sure it’s not so different or more difficult than many. But, I admitted it to myself. I am working on getting out of that box. I’m willing to make sacrifice on purpose. Thank you!
